Family

Got to shoot some family pictures of family. It was good to see how all the kids have grown. Such an adorable bunch.

5 Is Magic

I was trying to make the best of the rainy weather so I took my Sophie out on her 5 year photo shoot. She has been saying for months that she will be able to do this or that when she turns five. It seems that she felt 5 was magic and life becomes so much more with that magic number. I will miss her when she starts school and not being my little sunshine everyday.

Baby Bumps

My sister is having a baby and we went to capture her cute baby bump before he got here. Even with all the aches and pains, I do love being pregnant.

Dance, Dance, Dance!!!

Dance recital time and I got to be there this time. Last time I was in the hospital having Elias. They were so beautiful and I was a proud mom.

Been working on refinishing the front door in the garage and turned around to find beautiful artwork from my Sophie.

Woke up to this on the last day in April. Really hasn't improved since. Summer and warmth is very much desired!!

Vacation

4 Months

It's my little man's 4 month birthday and he is getting so big. I just love him to pieces.

I made my own nest to go with my owl hat. I think it turned out rather nice. Thanks neighbors for all the sticks from your tree in my yard. It saved me a bundle. :)

Engagements

I had a great time on this engagement shoot. They are such a cute couple and were very nice to put up with me in my sickly condition. So fun to meet and willing to try my ideas. More will be posted on my photography blog soon.

Surprises

...in my front yard. Oh how I wish for warmth.

Sickness

So can I tell you how sick I am of someone being sick. Daughter is taking another round of antibiotics to clear up an ear infection that won't go away. Baby has had RSV twice and can't seem to get the gunk out all the way. It's a love hate relationship with the sucker. He hates every second of it, but it sure cleans his airways out. Now I am trying to recover from the flu. Never actually had it and I must say the shiny end of a pistol never looked so relieving.

Utah Spring

Utah is a tease. It likes to give you touches of spring that make you so excited for it to arrive then it pummels you with winter. Big, huge snowflakes that don't stick. Fun to watch, but still wish for spring.

Toofleth

Leena is going to be 7 in a couple of months and had yet to have lost a tooth. She would tell me who at school had lost one and that she was the only one who hadn't. Well she finally had a loose tooth to brag about. She was willing to have her Dad pull it. So he proceeded to pull it with little complaint from her. When he was done I told him that that wasn't the one that was ready. So she let him pull the other one that was ready. Anyway, she was thrilled and excited that she was twice richer. This was just after him pulling it with a smile and everything.

Funny Story

So when I went to pick up the kids, Leena got in and I noticed that she had something on her lip. I thought maybe she took a pen and dotted on a mustache. When we got home I was able to inspect it better. I always think of crazy possibilities, like what disease would cause her to have this on her lip. I realized I was being silly and asked her if she, by chance had sucked on a bottle. It looked like a bruise and the only way I thought she could get it is if she had sucked on a bottle hard with her lip on the inside. I remember doing silly things like that as a kid. Sure enough I was right. I could stop laughing about it so I had to take a picture. She had to sport this dashing mustache for a few days. The picture doesn't do it justice.

The World Of Princess

Thanks to some great friends, I was able to take my girls to see Disney on Ice. I wanted to take my camera, but I already had to lug my baby in the rain and I didn't want to carry the whole bag (I know....excuses). So this is the picture I took for the day. We had a blast! I love ice skating. I used to love watching it with my Mom.

Play Time

I love watching my kids play and seeing what they come up with. Apparently Ariel and Aurora were fighting over Prince Eric and Tiana and Cinderella were stopping by for a visit.
