In thinking about taking on the project I felt it would be exposing me more than I am used to. So just as an onion has many layers, so do each one of us (according to Shrek). It also ties in to photography as a tool I use in the editing process. By tackling this project I hope to grow personally as well as professionally during this next year. I will struggle with posting them each day, but will take the pictures and post them as soon as time allows. Enjoy the journey with me.

141 - I Love....

....painted piggies

Especially in summer when bare feet are a must, painted piggies dress up any foot. My girls have adopted this same love, more than I realized. On Sunday my oldest daughter was getting ready for church and she came in with her Easter dress and her sandals with tights. I told her that it would be a nice day and she didn't need the tights, she insisted. I then told her that it didn't look great, she still insisted. Running late and wanting to pass on this battle I told her to do what she wanted. I left the room and then heard her wailing. I went back in to see she had pulled off her tights and was sobbing on the floor. I asked her what was wrong and she said, " Mom it will look horrible because all the paint has chipped off my piggies." Noticing the time I then took her in the bathroom with her sandals on and threw some paint on her piggies. I may have created a monster, but at least she is a monster with cute, brightly painted piggies. I have also been complemented on my colorful toes on many interesting occasions. One was during my delivery of Sophie, the nurse felt inclined to send positive energy my way and told me she adored my toes which I can't take credit for painting as I couldn't bend over. The other was actually tonight at a meeting a counselor in the Stake Presidency noticed my toes poking out of my sandals. He thought that my Sapphire blue was quite fun.

Bradyn had a May pole dance and an opera afterwards. He did beautifully. He is the one wearing the red tie. The photo is courtesy of my hubby, Justin. I was manning the video for a change.

134 - I Love....

....that you will forgive me for my lack of a picture. If you would have seen me you would have totally understood. I neither felt like taking a picture let alone thinking about it. I slept on and off on the couch and caught up on my educational t.v. I have priorities and occasionally they shift position dependent upon circumstance. My priority of a picture of the day was slighted by my inability to function or move. So I apologize for my slip, but am feeling much improved.

....that my girls are best friends

Leena said she wishes that they didn't grow up because she wants to stay this size so she and Sophie can always play together. Sisters make the bestest of friends...I know.

128 - I Love....

....my children's' creativity

I have been thinking of doing a cooking themed party since my sister did one in January and since then it seems to be a popular party idea, but Leena and Sophie loved the idea. Their birthdays are two days apart so we are combining their friend birthday this year. So in thinking of ideas for the invitation, I had mine and Leena had her own idea. I loved it and I loved that it was all her idea and her art so that is what we went with.

120 - I Love....

....date night with my boyfriend

We had a date night and I had every intention of taking my camera, but left the house without it. We enjoyed hiking and seeing a dead porcupine, wild turkey, a moose, a deer, and beautiful scenery. Then we topped of the evening with a Cold Stone ice cream, mmm. If anyone is curious I had the apple pie one. I know shocker that I was straying from my norm. But it was delicious.

In that the day was gone and I forgot my camera I had to be creative. I did take this picture of my boyfriend, but it was almost 11 years ago when he was my actual boyfriend not quite my husband, yet. I know I didn't take it this day but, I'm cool with being creative and realizing that life happens. I took this on a drive we went on with my medium format Halina with BW film. I love the natural distortion around the edges from the cameras glass, oh and of course my ever so handsome subject.

114 - I Love....

....made beds

I love having the sheets pulled up and nice and smoothed out, it makes the room feel cleaner to me. I also love crawling into a made bed at night. It just feels right. I don't know if it's partly because when I was growing up that if I didn't make my bed in the morning, I would come home from school and have to make the bed from scratch. Or, that I am a very routine person and it is just part of my daily ritual and if it isn't done in the morning, it just doesn't feel right. Either way I have to have a made bed.

113 - I Love....

....the talent of Micheal Jackson

Watched This is It with my awesome SIL Jillian. It brought back memories of my sister and I wearing one glove and attempting the moonwalk and other dance moves from MJ when we were kids. Also, in 5th grade we had a talent show and my class danced to Bad.

While I can't say that I thought he was awesome all around, he was highly talented and very unique. The things that he wore and the way he danced could only be pulled off by him. My favorite song is probably Billie Jean.
